 FIBROMATOSIS PLANTAR:

La fibromatosis plantar es una afección benigna y autolimitada. En las primeras etapas puede ser sensible, pero después de unos meses se vuelve indoloro. Los aparatos ortopédicos pueden ser útiles si hay un bulto sensible y doloroso para descargar el lugar. Una vez que el dolor y la sensibilidad han desaparecido, no se necesitan aparatos ortopédicos. Si el fibroma se opera o incluso se inyecta, existe un riesgo significativo de que reaparezca en una forma más agresiva y en mayor número, por lo que la inyección y la cirugía están contraindicadas. Los fibromas plantares son hallazgos incidentales comunes y, si no son palpables, lo más probable es que no sean la causa de los síntomas, a menos que estén en las primeras etapas y aún estén creciendo.
